What we collect
When you ask for a crew: the message you type. Please don’t include anything in it that we don’t need to plan your shoot.
When you book: your name and phone number. You enter your payment details with Razorpay, not on Camcru, and we don't see your card or bank details.
When you list yourself: what you enter on the form, including your name, phone number, location, rates, kit and links to your work.
How we use it
- To show you crews who fit your event
- To pass your details to the crew you book, so they can arrange your shoot
- To review listings and contact the people who send them
Who sees it
The Camcru team sees bookings and listings in a private inbox, to run the service and handle refunds.
The crew you book gets your name, phone number and request, so they can arrange your shoot.
The public sees an approved listing: the name or agency name, location, day rate, kit, editing software, delivery time, services and showreel link. Phone numbers and an agency’s main contact stay private.
Companies that help us run Camcru:
- Razorpay, which takes your payment and may receive your name and phone number
- The companies that host our website and database
We don’t sell your data.
Cookies
We use cookies only to keep the Camcru team and our videographers signed in to their panels. We don’t use advertising or analytics cookies.
How long we keep it
We keep your details for as long as we need them to arrange your booking or manage your listing, or as the law requires.
Your choices
You can ask us to show you, correct or delete the details we hold about you, as India’s data protection law allows. To ask, contact us.
